Olivier Giroud Tops France's All-Time Top-Scorers

Doha, December 04 (QNA) - France striker Olivier Giroud is now all-time top-scorer for his national team after netting the first goal in their Sunday's 3-1 victory over Poland in the round of 16 of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The-36-year old raised his score to 52 goals in a total of 117 international cabs, overtaking Thierry Henry, who scored 51 goals in 123 games from 1997 to 2010.

The AC Milan forward has scored so far three goals in the World Cup, after his brace in their 4-1 win against Australia in Group D opener.

Thierry Henry has 51 goals with the French national team, which he scored in 123 matches between 1997 and 2010. (QNA)
