Doha, November 05 (QNA) - HE Ambassador of the Republic of Uruguay to Doha Jorge Antonio Sere Sturzenegger underlined that the State of Qatar has exerted enormous and tremendous efforts since it has been chosen to be the host of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament 12 years ago.

His Excellency hailed the organizational efforts made by the government of the State of Qatar in preparation for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 events to be a real legacy for the countries of the region and the entire world.

Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA), HE Ambassador of the Republic of Uruguay to Doha added that the State of Qatar has encountered enormous challenges, but was able to overcome all the possible obstacles to host this global and historic event, pointing out that the preparation of the eight stadiums in an impressive way demonstrates the coordinative and organizational aspects relevant to the logistic services, security, accommodation, provision of matches tickets and handling the enormous flock of fans, as well as vehicles traffic.

His Excellency indicated that FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament will be different this time, because it is held on an Arab land with the significance of highlighting the efforts made by the government institutions in coordination with the international entities to securely and methodically receive millions of visitors and fans for this prominent historic event.
