Tunisian National Team Coach: Tunisian Players World Cup Experienced, Striving to Win Denmark

Doha, November 21 (QNA) - First Tunisian national football team Coach Jalel Kadri confirmed that his team will do its best to win in tomorrows match against Denmark as part of the teams strive in Group D of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Al Kadri added in a press conference held today at the Main Media Center of the tournament at Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC) that the team will strive tomorrow to present a good match and win it, given that the Tunisian national team has become accustomed to competing in the World Cup, who will have to face the strong Danish team, considered one of the best European teams recently.

The Tunisian Coach indicated that the national team is playing in a difficult group, yet despite that, it will seek to achieve a positive result starting with tomorrow's important match, indicated that the national team is competing in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 with players who have played previously in the World Cup.

Al Kadri stressed that the Tunisian national team has a legacy in the World Cup and is equipped with players of great experience in playing such matches. Additionally, the team has an additional incentive this year, which is that the tournament is hosted by an Arab country for the first time ever, pushing the team to achieve best results.

The Tunisian Coach thanked the State of Qatar for its high-level organization of the World Cup and the opening ceremony, making all Arabs proud, adding that Qatar proved to the world the Arab countries are capable of organizing perfect tournaments.

Al Kadri stressed that the Tunisian fans in Qatar are Tunisia's strength in the tournament, adding that the team felt the great public presence and support in the last Arab championship held last year in Qatar, stressing that the fans are the biggest motivator for the national team, with fans representing player number 12.

At the end of the conference, the Coach addressed Tunisian fans telling them that the national team is participating in the World Cup to prove the superiority of Tunisian football, make Tunisia proud, and please the fans base that is always supporting its national team.

For his part, Tunisian national squad Player Issam Jebali said that tomorrow's match will be difficult for both teams, however the Tunisian team is able to play a good match and win.

He added that his team aspires to qualify for the knockout stages, noting that he knows the Danish national team well because of he is playing in one of the Premier League clubs in Denmark.

Jebali continued by saying that Qatars hosting of the tournament feels as if it were held in Tunisia, thanking Qatar for the good organization that made all Arabs proud, reiterating that the Tunisian national team includes footballers capable of making a difference in all matches.

The Tunisian teams participation in the finals of the World Cup for the second time in a row represents a great success for the team, after having missed the 2010 and 2014 editions.

The Tunisian national team will face Australia at Al Janoub Stadium on Nov. 26, followed by France on Nov. 30, at the Education City Stadium in its last group match.

Since its arrival in Qatar, the Tunisian squad has taken the Wyndham Doha West Bay Hotel as its residence in the tournament, and trains daily at Field Number 3 of Al Egla training facilities.
