Doha, November 21 (QNA) - Coach of Denmark national football team Kasper Hjulmand stressed readiness for tomorrow's match against Tunisia, which will be held at the Education City Stadium within Group D competitions of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Speaking at a press conference on Monday, Hjulmand expressed respect for the Tunisian team which he described as strong; noting that it will be a difficult game and the Danes must play with great focus in order to achieve a positive start.

Hjulmand expressed delight with the presence of Manchester United player Christian Eriksen in the squad following the health conditions he faced in the UEFA EURO 2020.

Hjulmand said that he has always emphasized that Eriksen is the beating heart of the national team, and a great addition to the group. He added that his goal against the Netherlands in Amsterdam was his first after his return, and now he has great determination and tremendous desire.

"Are we favorites? No... but we can beat everyone on the day and we have a very strong self-confidence," added Hjulmand. "We have a very good group of players working together and the best way of winning everything is to dream big." Captain of Denmark national team Simon Kjaer stressed the importance of the match against the Tunisian national team tomorrow, because opener matches have an influential role in the path of the national team in the World Cup; noting that everyone in the national team understands the value of this match, and the importance of achieving full points.
