Doha, November 20 (QNA) - The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Host Country Media Centre (HCMC) in the city of Msheireb witnessed a wonderful coverage and unparalleled interaction, coinciding with the opening of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), HCMC Services Director Noor Al Athirah said that the media center witnessed a large attendance that exceeded its capacity, with the number of media professionals who visited the center a while before the opening match stood at about 500 media professionals, who were able to carry out their work and coverage in the center before boarding the private buses heading to Al Bayt Stadium.

HCMC Services Director pointed out that the percentage of Arab media professionals was the largest today compared to the previous days that had a heavy presence of foreign media professionals of many nationalities.

Al Athirah pointed out that several press conferences with SC Spokespersons took place this morning, during which a brief was given of the center's services and preparations, providing media professionals with a range of services prior to the start of the great global event.
