Doha, November 20 (QNA) - Football fans around the world are looking forward to enjoying the performances of the stars of the Netherlands Orange Eleven at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, to

embody the image of the kingdom that endowed the world with photographic arts, figurative symbols and the fragrance of roses, whose creators, photographers and architects had a leading position in the Renaissance era in Europe and the world.

The Dutch national team is nicknamed the "Orange" for their distinctive orange jerseys, or "Total Football" team for their total football arts.

About 23 million people around the world speak Dutch as their first language, while Dutch is spoken by about 5 million people around the world.

Nobel Prize in chemistry was given to the Dutch Jacobus Henricus van 't Hoff (1852 - 1911), chemist and physicist.

Literature in Netherlands dates back to a distant history, there is intermediate literature, written in the period from 1150 to 1500. Poetry was the predominant form of literary expression. The first to write literature in Dutch was the poet Heinrich von Veldeke in the XII century.

In modern times, Netherlands has the famous Dutch playwright, poet, and novelist Harry Kurt Victor Mulisch who produced about 80 books.


Dutch writers from Arabic origin had many contributions such as Ramsey Nasr, Mustafa Stitou, Abdelkader Benali, Hafid Bouazza, Jamal Ouariachi, Rachida Lamrabet, Fouad Laroui, Naima El Bezaz and Mwafak El-Sawad.

Dutch architecture and its aesthetics represent a global and influential cultural masterpiece, as it was characterized by development and uniqueness from ancient to modern times. 

The contribution of the Netherlands in the field of visual and fine arts represents a milestone in the history of these deep-rooted arts of the Renaissance and the European lights, and extends its branches into modern times. The history of Western and international fine art remembers the Netherlands painters and reserved their credit until they were called the description of the masters, including from those great artists : Rembrandt Harmens van Rijn (1606-1669), Johannes Vermeer (1632-1675), Paulus Potter (1625-1654), Adrian Janz Hendrich (1610-1685) and Albert Coeb (1620-1691), and Vincent Willem van Gogh (1853-1890) , with his sensual works, his own and bold colors and his creativity that made a great impact on the art in the twentieth century. 

Van Gogh's personal life is no less influential and inspiring than his creative experience, as his correspondence with his brother will represent a human and aesthetic reference that illuminates his choice of colors.

The Netherlands expressed its gratitude and appreciation for Gogh's art through devoting a museum to his work in Amsterdam, includes details of Van Peach's life and development in addition to the world's largest collection of his work and that of his contemporaries.

Also, the Dutch artist Rembrandt Harmens van Rijn, leads the geniuses of the world's paintwork throughout history, and his works continue to demonstrate, inspire and influence times and times with its expressive strength, charm of its colors, shadows, aesthetic messages, and humanity.

The Netherlands celebrated his work and symbolism and honored his creativity by converting his home in Amsterdam into a museum dedicated to his work.

One of the most important historical monuments in the Netherlands is the presence of the windmills throughout the Netherlands, including the Mill Network at Kinder Dijk, which includes the largest group of windmills in the country and has been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This type of windmill has been built elaborately to pump water from the swamps of the Southern Netherlands Province and the network helped transform the surrounding area into a very fertile land.

In addition to the Cube Houses that are considered among the most beautiful buildings in the Netherlands. Along with the Erasmus Rotterdam Bridge which is spans the River Niue Maas with its charming design and connecting the north and south banks.

The Van Gogh and Rembrandt museums stand as evidence of the contemporary Dutch civilization alongside with the National Museum of Archaeology the Marisha's Museum in the Hague which displays the treasures of Dutch and Flemish Renaissance art, and featuring the Dutch Golden Age paintings and collections contains works by Johannes Vermeer, Rembrandt van Rijn, Jan Steen, Paulus Potter, Frans Hals, Jacob van Ruisdael, Hans Holbein the Younger, and others. It is listed in the top 100 Dutch heritage sites.

The Ricks Museum is considered one of the best art museums in the world, exhibiting many art masterpieces, Including the works of the Golden Age, the works of many artists including works by Rembrandt, Vermeer, and Hals. Johannes Vermeer and Van Gogh, along with the Cruller Müller Museum, which is the second largest museum around the world.

The major parks are the most important tourist attractions in the Netherlands. The Vondel Park in Amsterdam Province, the Zoderzi Museum and the Hoge Veluvy National Park dedicated to interactive activities, regarded as one of the country's huge nature reserves, home to wildlife, where many rare animals and birds live, with a wide range of distinctive plants and trees.
One of the highlights of the Netherlands is Keukenhof Park, one of the world's largest and most famous flower gardens, and the Marker Wadden Reserve.

The Kingdom of the Netherlands, with Amsterdam as its capital, is located in northwestern Europe. It is low and flat and contains large areas of canals, lakes and rivers, bordered from the east by Germany, from the south by Belgium, from the north and west by the North Sea. The Netherlands is the sixth largest economy in the European Union. The tourism sector plays an important role in attracting visitors and absorbing labor. (QNA)
