Doha, November 16 (QNA) - Eighteen Qatari citizens and residents artists participate in a collective exhibition entitled "50x50" part 9, launched by Al Markhiya Gallery at its headquarters at Katara Cultural Village Foundation, Building No. 5, under the patronage of Qatar Financial Centre and lasts till Jan.20.

The exhibition aims to introduce the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 fans to the developments of Qatari plastic art and to promote local and Arabic culture.

In their remarks to Qatar News Agency (QNA), several participating artists stressed the importance of the exhibition in introducing local and international visitors to Qatar's rich arts and creations.
In this context, the Qatari artist told QNA that she is participating in the exhibition with three paintings under the hashtag "Lahza/moment," saying that the paintings represent a continuation of her self-tailored artistic style with some modifications.

She pointed out that what connects her paintings is the theme (the moment) by randomly scattering colors and then obtaining the subject, noting that she wanted through this work to document moments from the Qatari mainland for a group of plants and buildings.

In a similar statement to QNA, artist Jamila Al Ansari said that her participation in the exhibition aims to present artworks for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 fans to introduce them to the Qatari, Gulf, and Arabic artistic characteristics through artists' works.

For his part, artist Ahmed Nouh indicated that the exhibition, which coincides with the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, is an opportunity for global expansion and to form new relationships and friendships.

For her part, artist Hanadi Al Darwish said that she tried, as an extension of her experience in using different materials and processing them to break her usual color theme border and that she decided in this stage to come up with something different with different colors, by adding silver paper, as the painting size allowed her to work comfortably.

As for the artist Mohammed Al Hammadi, he said that this is his second participation in the 50x50 exhibition, and this time he is participating in digital works, where he worked with digital drawing, in addition to using artificial intelligence as a sequel to digital work.
