Muscat, September 09 (QNA) - Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi discussed the latest regional developments and their humanitarian repercussions during a phone call on Wednesday with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
The two sides reviewed efforts to de-escalate tensions, create conditions conducive to resuming dialogue and advance diplomatic efforts to address outstanding issues through political means.
Al Busaidi stressed the need to intensify diplomatic efforts, exercise restraint and create space for political and diplomatic initiatives to ease tensions and address outstanding issues, with the aim of strengthening regional security, stability and peace. (QNA)
