Japan's Nikkei Closes Lower
Tokyo, September 09 (QNA) - Japanese stock indices ended Wednesday's trading session lower.
The Nikkei index fell 0.19 percent at the close, recording 65,142.78 points, while the broader Topix index declined 0.09 percent to 4,046.64 points.
Kyowa Kirin's shares also plunged 5.88 percent, followed by DeNA, which fell 4.65 percent, and Sumitomo Corp, which lost 4.33 percent.
Meanwhile, shares of Furukawa Electric surged 12.63 percent, followed by Tokai Carbon, which rose 9.27 percent, recording its highest close since October 2018, and Fujikura, which climbed 8.07 percent. (QNA)
