Muslim World League Condemns Israeli Statements on Displacement of Palestinian People
Makkah, September 06 (QNA) - The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned the statements made by two Israeli Ministers regarding the displacement of the Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip, including proposed plans and mechanisms aimed at forcibly removing Palestinians from their land.
In a statement today, MWL denounced these unacceptable and reprehensible statements, stressing that they come in the context of Israel's violations of all international and humanitarian laws and norms in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and its undermining of peace efforts.
The statement stressed the urgent need for the international community to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities by ensuring an immediate end to all Israeli violations and attempts to impose a new demographic or geographic reality in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.
It also expressed strong appreciation and support for the statement issued in this regard by the Foreign Ministers of the State of Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, the Republic of Indonesia, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Republic of Turkiye, and the Arab Republic of Egypt, as well as for their unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people and steadfast support for their legitimate rights, foremost among them the right to establish an independent Palestinian state in accordance with the two-state solution and relevant international resolutions, as the only path to achieving a just and lasting peace in the region.
