Doha, September 05 (QNA) - Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation "KAHRAMAA" has achieved a new milestone by winning the Arab Corporate Social Responsibility Award 2026, presented by the Regional Network for Social Responsibility (RNSR), in recognition of its pioneering efforts and innovative initiatives in the fields of corporate social responsibility and sustainability, as well as its commitment to institutional practices that create a positive and lasting impact on society and the environment.
KAHRAMAA received the award during a ceremony held in the Kingdom of Bahrain, where it was accepted on behalf of the corporation by Director of Public Relations and Communication Department, Mohamed Ali Saleh Al Muhannadi. The recognition reflects KAHRAMAA's success in embedding the principles of social responsibility and sustainability across its operations, projects, and programs, strengthening its role as an active partner in supporting sustainable development goals and reaffirming its commitment to applying best institutional practices in accordance with the highest standards of governance and excellence.
