Kyiv, September 28 (QNA) - Ukrainian authorities announced that one person was killed and four others were injured following a Russian attack targeting the Zaporizhzhia region of Ukraine.

Ukrainian news agency (Ukrinform) reported that Russian forces launched 712 attacks on the Zaporizhzhia region, killing one person and injuring 4 others, in addition to damaging infrastructure facilities, homes and vehicles.

In a related context, the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces announced that its forces managed to shoot down 112 out of 165 Russian drones last night.

These developments come in light of the continuation of the Russian-Ukrainian war since February 2022, amid mutual reports on the conduct of military operations, without the possibility of independent verification of all these reports. (QNA)
