Brussels, September 28 (QNA) - European stock indexes opened Monday's trading mixed, amid continued pressure stemming from higher oil prices and tensions in the sovereign debt market.

In the major European markets, France's CAC 40 index on the Paris Stock Exchange rose 0.29 percent, while Germany's DAX index on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange posted a slight increase of 0.02 percent.

In London, the UK's FTSE 100 index rose 0.22 percent, while Italy's MIB index on the Milan Stock Exchange fell 0.23 percent. (QNA)
