Occupied Jerusalem, September 21 (QNA) - A total of 458 colonists stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque compound Monday through Bab Al-Magharibah (The Moroccans Gate), under heavy protection from the Israeli occupation forces.

Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA) quoted the Jerusalem Governorate as saying that the occupation forces are imposing a sweeping media blackout on developments in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque on the second day of the so called "Day of Atonement" holiday.

The occupation authorities had restricted transportation and business activity in Jerusalem, imposed a comprehensive closure on institutions and shops, and placed restrictions on movement.

Hundreds of colonists, led by Israeli occupation government National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque yesterday under heavy guard and performed Talmudic rituals in its eastern section. (QNA)
