Occupied Jerusalem, September 21 (QNA) - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested on Monday dozens of Palestinian civilians in various areas across the West Bank.

WAFA news agency said that the IOF arrested dozens of Palestinians after raiding the town of Biddu, northwest the occupied Jerusalem (Al-Quds), mostly targeting Palestinian youth.

Al-Quds Governorate said that the occupation continues to detain at least 53 young Palestinians in an interrogation center set up inside a home seized during the raid on the town, alongside conducting searches, acts of vandalism, and property destruction within several houses, and physically assaulting a number of Palestinian citizens.

The IOF arrested seven citizens, including two women, from various towns in Jenin governorate. The Palestinian Prisoners' Society (PPS) also reported that the IOF launched a large-scale operation in the village of Fahma, south of Jenin, which involved raiding several homes and interrogating their residents.

In Tulkarm, the IOF arrestd five Palestinians, including freed prisoners, after raiding and searching their homes, in addition to another Palestinian in the city of Al-Khalil.

The cities, towns, and refugee camps across the West Bank and Al-Quds witness daily raids and incursions by the IOF, often accompanied by confrontations, arrests, and the firing of live and rubber bullets, as well as tear gas canisters, at Palestinians. (QNA)
