Seoul, September 20 (QNA) -The South Korean military announced today that North Korea launched at least one projectile towards the East Sea.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff said in a statement published by Yonhap News Agency that they monitored the launch, without providing further details.
The launch came about a week after North Korea fired several short-range ballistic missiles from the Wonsan region towards the East Sea on September 12, in a move seen as a protest against the tripartite military exercises between Seoul, Washington and Tokyo. (QNA)
