Cairo, September 20 (QNA) - The General Secretariat of the Arab League has condemned the Houthis' pursuit of their campaign of attacks against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the latest involving the launch of a ballistic missile toward Riyadh, along with attempts to target several Saudi cities and regions.
In a statement Sunday, it stressed that these persistent assaults amount to an unacceptable and grave escalation, violate the Kingdom's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and endanger civilian lives, ultimately exacerbating tensions and imperiling the security and stability of the region.
As such, the League underscored its full buy-in to Saudi Arabia's actions to protect its security, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens and residents, underlining that the Kingdom's security is utterly indivisible from Arab national security.
The statement called for the immediate cessation of these assaults and restraint from further escalation, as well as respect for Saudi sovereignty and territorial integrity and abiding by the rules-based international order. (QNA)
