570 Settlers Storm Al-Aqsa Mosque Escorted by Occupation Forces
Occupied Jerusalem, September 20 (QNA) - As many as 570 settlers poured into Al-Aqsa Mosque Sunday while being escorted by Israeli occupation forces, the Palestinian news agency (WAFA) said.
WAFA added that the settlers provocatively performed Talmudic rites in the Mosque's compound to mark the so-called “Day of Atonement”, with a significant number of them prowling around the Dung Gate since the early hours of the morning in preparation for storming the Mosque.
These incursions are part of the Israeli occupation's efforts to obliterate the Islamic and historic identity of Jerusalem and carry out its plans for the temporal and spatial division of the Mosque. (QNA)
