Riyadh, September 02 (QNA) - The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia condemned the Iranian attacks against the Saudi tanker SIDR that was passing the Strait of Hormuz, as well as the attacks that targeted Jordan, Bahrain and Kuwait.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry affirmed, in a statement issued on Wednesday, the Kingdom's stance and full solidarity with the three countries in all measures taken to safeguard their security and stability.
It emphasized the importance of stopping escalation and ensuring the security and safety of international marine navigation and ensuring the supply of global energy, as well as respecting principles of good neighborliness, countries' sovereignty, the United Nations Charter, and international laws and norms.
Saudi Arabia called on all parties to keep calm, stop any escalation, respect international law, return to the negotiating table, and find proper solutions. (QNA)
