LIC Revives F1 Family Friday as Qatar Grand Prix Returns to the Spotlight
Doha, September 19 (QNA) - Lusail International Circuit (LIC) has announced the return of F1 Family Friday as part of the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2026, scheduled to take place from Nov. 27 to 29.
The initiative comes as part of LIC's commitment to strengthening community engagement and reinforcing the values of inclusivity by providing spellbinding and incredible experiences for different segments of society to enjoy motorsport.
Indeed, the initiative aims to provide families with an opportunity to experience world-class Formula 1 racing at the circuit, further bolstering its stature as a sporting and entertainment hub that attracts audiences of all ages.
When purchasing a QAR 200 adult general admission ticket, ticket holders can bring up to four children under the age of 12 free of charge, giving families an opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere of Formula 1.
Accompanying parents or legal guardians must obtain the children's free admission tickets in advance through LIC's official online ticketing platform before attending the event.
F1 Family Friday will offer fans an exceptional experience and an opportunity to watch free practice sessions, as some of the world's top drivers showcase their skills on the track.
The tickets also provide access to the Fan Zone, where visitors can enjoy a wide range of experiences and activities, including cultural activities, a dedicated children's area, interactive simulators, live entertainment, a variety of food and beverage options, merchandise outlets and entertainment activities suitable for the whole family.
Fans will also be able to attend the Fan Forum, which will be held on the main stage in the Fan Zone, as well as benefit from the amenities included with the general admission ticket, including complimentary round-trip bus transportation between Lusail QNB Metro Station and LIC, as well as on-site parking facilities.
