Occupied Jerusalem, September 16 (QNA) - Israeli colonists stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque Wednesday, under heavy protection from Israeli occupation forces.
Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported that settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque through the Moroccan Gate, conducted provocative tours of its courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals.
Groups affiliated with the so-called “Temple organizations” had called on their supporters to participate widely in the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and perform rituals inside the compound, citing Jewish celebrations as a pretext.
Israeli occupation authorities exploit Jewish holidays to close roads and impose restrictions on Palestinian movement across the West Bank, including Jerusalem, worsening their daily hardships and further restricting freedom of worship, while facilitating the movement of Israeli colonists and confining Palestinians within their cities, villages and towns.
