Thessaloniki, Greece, September 15 (QNA) - UEFA announced Tuesday that Munich, Germany, will host the 2028 UEFA Champions League final, while the Camp Nou in Barcelona, Spain, will stage the 2029 showcase.

The 2028 final will take place at the Allianz Arena, which previously hosted the 2025 title match—where Paris Saint-Germain claimed its maiden trophy by defeating Italy's Inter Milan 5-0.

The Camp Nou will host the Champions League final for the first time since 1999, when England's Manchester United secured a dramatic 2-1 victory over Germany's Bayern Munich.

UEFA also designated the host cities for the 2028 and 2029 Europa League finals. The National Arena in Bucharest, Romania, will host the 2028 final, while the new National Stadium in Belgrade, Serbia, will stage the 2029 match.

In the Conference League, Turin, Italy, will host the 2028 final at Juventus Stadium, and the 2029 final will be held at the Puskas Arena in Budapest, Hungary, which has a capacity of roughly 67,000 spectators.

For the UEFA Super Cup, Amsterdam, Netherlands, will host the 2027 edition, and Astana, Kazakhstan, will stage the 2028 match.

Meanwhile, this season's Champions League final is scheduled for the Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid, home of Atlético Madrid, while the Europa League final will take place at the Waldstadion in Frankfurt, Germany.

In women's football, Lyon, France, will host the 2028 UEFA Women's Champions League final, and Cardiff, Wales, will stage the 2029 match at the city's National Stadium. (QNA)
