QU, Qatar Lawyers Association Organize Seminar on Preparations for Legal Practice
Doha, September 15 (QNA) - Dean of the College of Law at Qatar University (QU) Dr. Mohammed Hassan Al Kaabi said, "there is an increasing need to modernize legal education and strengthen partnerships with legal and judicial institutions."
This need arises in light of the rapid developments taking place around the world, Dr. Al Kaabi added. Meeting this need will contribute to the administration of justice with competence, professionalism, and distinction.
These remarks came during a seminar titled "From Classrooms to Courtrooms: Practical Experiences in Legal Practice," organized by QU's College of Law, in collaboration with the Qatar Lawyers Association.
"The success of a law school in fulfilling its mission is measured by its ability to graduate students who combine academic knowledge, practical skills, and professional commitment," he added.
The event sought to prepare a new generation of qualified legal professionals who are well equipped to meet the evolving demands of the legal market.
In turn, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Lawyers Association Mubarak bin Abdullah Al Sulaiti highlighting the Association's role in supporting and developing national legal talent.
The panel addressed a range of topics related to the realities of legal practice, including the transition from academic study to professional practice, day-to-day work in law firms, client relations, time management, and handling work-related pressures. (QNA)
