Brussels, September 15 (QNA) - European stock indices opened Tuesday's trading lower, affected by the continued rise in oil prices and the increase in sovereign debt bond yields, as investors await the meeting of the US Federal Reserve.
In the major European markets, France's CAC 40 index on the Paris Stock Exchange fell by 0.47 percent, while Germany's DAX index on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange declined by 0.33 percent.
In London, the UK's FTSE 100 index fell by 0.39 percent, while Italy's MIB index on the Milan Stock Exchange recorded the largest decline among the major indices, falling by 0.90 percent. (QNA)
