Saudi Arabia Condemn Drone Attack on Its East-west Oil Pipeline
Riyadh, September 11 (QNA) - Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned a drone attack on its East-West oil pipeline in the Riyadh and Medina regions, saying the strikes caused injuries and damage.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry said the drones came from Iraq and that the damage was being addressed.
Saudi Arabia said it had decided not to respond for now, following a request from the Iraqi prime minister to give his government an opportunity to take measures to prevent attacks launched from Iraqi territory against Saudi Arabia and neighboring countries.
The kingdom said it supported Baghdad's efforts but reserved the right to take measures to protect its sovereignty, security, infrastructure, citizens and residents. (QNA)
