Cairo, September 11 (QNA) - Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty discussed regional developments and bilateral cooperation in a phone call Friday with IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi.

The two sides addressed the Iranian nuclear file, emphasizing the importance of supporting diplomatic tracks, containing escalation, and prioritizing political solutions to safeguard regional security and stability.

They also explored ways to bolster existing cooperation between Egypt and the IAEA alongside ongoing preparations for the agency's upcoming General Conference. (QNA)
