Gaza, September 10 (QNA) - A number of Palestinians were injured Thursday when Israeli occupation vehicles and a drone opened fire on shelters and displaced persons' tents in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.
Israeli warplanes launched an airstrike in the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital within the camp, in the northern part of the Strip, WAFA news agency reported.
Last night, Palestinian medical sources announced that the death toll in the Gaza Strip had risen to 73,669, the majority being women and children, since the start of the Israeli occupation's aggression on October 7, 2023.
The sources added that the number of injuries reached 174,652 since the aggression began, noting that a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the streets, beyond the reach of ambulance and civil defense crews.
Sources further stated that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received the bodies of seven martyrs over the past 24 hours, including two newly reported fatalities and another who succumbed to previous injuries, while the bodies of four martyrs were recovered, alongside 25 reported injuries. (QNA)
