Riyadh, September 1 (QNA) - The State of Qatar participated Tuesday in the second meeting of the Committee Following Up on the Implementation of the Gulf Security Strategy for Combating Money Laundering Crimes (2026-2030), held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in Riyadh.

Assistant Director of the Economic and Cyber Crimes Department at the General Department of Criminal Investigation at the Ministry Interior Staff Colonel Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Thani represented the State of Qatar at the meeting.

The meeting discussed the implementation plan for the strategy's objectives, particularly in the areas of legislation and security policies, joint security operations, cooperation and coordination, and training and capacity building. (QNA)
