Tarsheed Unveils Second Edition of Professional Practices for Teachers as New School Year Begins
Doha, September 01 (QNA) - The Doha-based Tarshid Educational Publications (Tarsheed) has published the second edition of the book Professional Practices for Teachers: Between Theory and Practice to mark the start of the new school year.
The book was authored by Dr. Rola Qubaisi, Dr. Aziz Rasmi, and Youssef Emhal.
The book is fourfold in scope: teachers’ professional development: between reflection and practice; classroom professional practices: a tour of key concepts; developing the classroom and school environment; and leveraging technology in education.
The significance of this publication lies in the consequential role of the book in enhancing teachers' professional aspects, as well as the correlation between theory and practice when it comes to educational practice.
Overall, the book is a catalyst for educational success for teachers and helps optimize school performance and effectiveness within a safe, tolerant, and inclusive environment.
The material is broadly laser-focused on a combination of core pedagogical notions that help teachers create an overall perspective on education and figure out its various dimensions.
It further supports the theoretical and practical knowledge of multiple actors in the education arena, thereby helping them enhance student achievement and promote well-being.
The book was shortlisted in the Education and Teaching category of the inaugural Sheikh Yusuf bin Isa Book Prize (2025-2026) in Kuwait, underscoring its contribution to advancing teachers’ educational and professional practices. (QNA)
