European Stocks Close Lower
Brussels, September 01 (QNA) - European stocks closed lower on Tuesday, pressured by a sharp rise in bond yields and renewed tensions in the Middle East, reviving concerns about higher inflation as energy prices rose again.
The CAC 40 in Paris fell 0.39 percent, while the DAX in Frankfurt lost 1.10 percent.
The FTSE 100 in London also declined 0.32 percent, while Italy's FTSE MIB in Milan fell 1.33 percent. (QNA)
