Arab Call for Developing Arab-African AI Model
Rabat, August 09 (QNA) - The first Arab forum for artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship called for the development of an Arab-African model for AI that benefits from Arab and African expertise and competencies, and takes into account linguistic, cultural and economic particularities, in order to enhance digital and technological sovereignty.
The participants in the forum, which concluded its work in Tangier, Morocco, recommended the establishment of a sovereign Arab-African center for investments, data and AI, with the aim of collecting, analyzing and processing economic and investment data from reliable sources, with Arab and African expertise, in order to support investment and decision-making.
They also called for the development of smart Arab and African cities and the use of AI, reliable data and open models, which would help investors and decision-makers explore opportunities and make more efficient investment decisions.
Organized by Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO) of the Arab League under the them 'role of AI in promoting entrepreneurship and building human capacities,' the forum was attended by a select group of decision-makers, experts, entrepreneurs, academics, and specialists in the fields of AI and entrepreneurship.
