Paris, August 06 (QNA) - Paris Saint-Germain, the reigning European champions, announced the signing of France international attacking midfielder Maghnes Akliouche from AS Monaco on a contract running until 2031.

The 24-year-old, who represented France at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, becomes PSG's first major signing of the current transfer window, following the arrival of young Italian goalkeeper Alessandro Longoni.

According to local media reports, Paris Saint-Germain paid 50 million euros (about $58 million), including bonuses, to secure the player's services.

Akliouche's arrival strengthens head coach Luis Enrique's attacking options following the departures of Portugal's Goncalo Ramos to AC Milan and South Korea's Lee Kang-in to Atletico Madrid, with uncertainty surrounding the future of Bradley Barcola. (QNA)
