Baghdad, August 06 (QNA) - The Iraqi Armed Forces announced today that they have raised the level of security readiness and combat preparedness of the country's security and military forces.

In a statement, the Security Media Cell said the decision, issued at the direction of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, includes raising the level of security readiness and combat preparedness through the implementation of training exercises and troop movements.

The statement added that the measures were intended to maintain the high level of readiness of all security force formations and enhance their ability to carry out their duties, thereby reinforcing security and stability and protecting citizens and public interests. (QNA)
