Brussels, August 23 (QNA) - Qatar Team finished third in the LMGT3 category at the fourth round of the 2026 European Le Mans Series (ELMS), held over a four-hour endurance race at the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium.

The Qatari team, featuring drivers Abdullah Al Khalifa, Julien Hanses and Adam Christodoulou in collaboration with Iron Lynx, delivered a consistent and competitive performance throughout the four-hour race, combining strong pace, reliability and effective teamwork.

Driving the No. 62 Mercedes-AMG LMGT3, the Qatar Team remained firmly in contention among the leading cars in the LMGT3 category, securing a podium finish and valuable championship points.

The team's achievements in the fourth round extended beyond the podium, with Abdullah Ali Al Khalifa being named LMGT3 Driver of the Day in recognition of his outstanding performance and significant contribution to the team's strong result.

The result marks another important milestone for Qatar Team by Iron Lynx in their 2026 ELMS campaign and provides a significant boost as the championship enters their decisive stages.

Qatar Team will now look to build on their strong performance in the remaining rounds, continuing their challenge for podium finishes and aiming to close out the season on a high. (QNA)
