Lebanese Prime Minister Affirms Commitment to Resolving Displacement Crisis
Beirut, August 24 (QNA) - Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam affirmed his government's commitment to resolving the displacement crisis affecting residents in war-affected areas of southern Lebanon.
In a statement on Monday, Salam said that the state will not abandon the people of the south to face the burdens of displacement alone. He noted that the government is exploring various options to address the housing issue, including providing rental assistance to displaced families and expediting related procedures.
Salam added that these measures are being implemented alongside government efforts to secure a complete Israeli withdrawal and create the conditions necessary for southern residents to safely return to their towns and lands. (QNA)
