Doha, August 21 (QNA) - Al Sadd and Al Ahli are set to begin their 2026-2027 Qatar Stars League campaigns tomorrow, Saturday, when they meet at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium in the opening round.

Al Sadd coach Razvan Lucescu said his team is eager to start the new season, stressing the need for maximum focus and respect for the opponent.

He expressed confidence in the team's preparations and desire to make a positive start.

Meanwhile, Al Ahli coach Borja Jimenez said he was pleased to begin his coaching career in Qatar with the club, expressing his ambition to achieve strong results and meet the expectations of the fans.

Jimenez acknowledged the challenge posed by Al Sadd, the defending champions, but said Al Ahli had prepared well and were ready to deliver a strong performance. (QNA)
