Eight People Killed as Charter Plane Crashed in Western Alaska
Washington, August 21 (QNA) - All eight people aboard a charter aircraft were killed when it crashed in the US state of Alaska.
According to preliminary information from the US Federal Aviation Administration, the flight, a Cessna 441, had departed Anchorage and was bound for Cape Newenham before crashing near a remote military radar site in western Alaska.
US military command in Alaska said the aircraft was a civilian-contracted flight, and that search and rescue teams confirmed there were no survivors.
The cause of the crash has not been determined, while the National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration are investigating the incident. (QNA)
