Doha, August 21 (QNA) - Al Arabi and Al Shamal played to a 2-2 draw at Al Thumama Stadium in the opening round of the 2026-2027 Doha Bank Stars League.
  The first half was evenly matched, with play largely confined to midfield, before ending goalless.
  The second half saw both teams exchange attacks, until Pablo Sarabia gave Al Arabi the lead in the 58th minute.
  Al Shamal quickly responded with two quick goals: an own goal by Alexis Perez in the 64th minute, and Baghdad Bounedjah put them ahead in the 67th minute. Substitute Oussama Tannane then equalized for Al Arabi in the 86th minute, ending the match in a 2-2 draw. (QNA)
