Doha, July 07 (QNA) - The third edition of the Leaders of Tomorrow Camp 2026, a youth leadership program organized by the Qatar Leadership Centre in cooperation with the American University of Beirut, has officially begun, with 100 students participating. The program is part of the center's ongoing efforts to prepare a new generation of promising national leaders and develop the leadership and personal skills of young people, enabling them to contribute effectively to Qatar's national development.
The program targets Qatari high school students in grades 10, 11, and 12 through an integrated educational and training experience that combines academic learning with practical application. It focuses on developing leadership, entrepreneurship, and community service skills, while fostering initiative, teamwork, and creative thinking in line with Qatar's vision of investing in human capital and preparing future leaders.
The program is being held from Jul. 5 to 16 at the Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha. Participants will take part in a series of interactive workshops and practical activities led by faculty members and experts from the American University of Beirut, using a teaching approach that combines academic best practices with real-world experience.
The program also includes field visits to several institutions across Qatar to introduce participants to institutional best practices and provide them with practical exposure to professional work environments. These visits are designed to bridge theory and practice while enhancing participants' understanding of the role national institutions play in supporting the country's development.
The initiative reflects the Qatar Leadership Centre's commitment to providing a learning environment that develops leadership capabilities, strengthens strategic thinking, effective communication, and teamwork, and equips participants to meet future challenges and serve their communities and country.
It also underscores the center's continued commitment to developing leadership initiatives across age groups and to promoting a culture of leadership among young people through specialized programs that refine their skills and prepare them to become future leaders.
The Qatar Leadership Centre continues to implement programs and initiatives aimed at preparing national leaders, building human capital, and strengthening Qatar's leadership development ecosystem through partnerships with leading international universities and academic institutions. These efforts are intended to prepare a generation of leaders capable of advancing the country's development and supporting its vision for a more prosperous and sustainable future. (QNA)
