Tashkent, July 06 (QNA) - Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met on Monday with his Jordanian counterpart, Ayman Safadi, who is visiting Tashkent, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation across various fields.
The two ministers also reviewed developments in the region, underscoring the importance of supporting efforts to end the escalation and promote security and stability, particularly following the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran.
They also discussed the latest developments in the Palestinian territories, stressing the need to preserve stability in the Gaza Strip and ensure the unhindered, sufficient and sustained delivery of humanitarian aid to help end the continuing humanitarian crisis in the Strip. (QNA)
