Israeli Forces Turn Home into Military Outpost, Detain Palestinians During West Bank Raids
Ramallah, July 04 (QNA) - Israeli occupation forces converted a home into a military outpost and detained a Palestinian during raids carried out in several areas across the occupied West Bank, Saturday.
The Palestine News and Info Agency reported that Israeli forces seized a house in the village of Arabouna in the Jenin Governorate, north of the occupied West Bank, after forcing its occupants to evacuate, and converted it into a military outpost.
The forces also detained a Palestinian during an attack by Israeli settlers on the Khallat Al Homs area south of the town of Yatta in the Hebron Governorate.
In the Ramallah and Al Bireh Governorate, three Palestinians were injured by Israeli rubber-coated metal bullets after settlers attacked the village of Umm Safa northwest of the city and stole livestock. Israeli forces then intervened and opened fire on local residents.
In Bethlehem, two Palestinians were injured after settlers assaulted them and sprayed them with pepper spray in the Khalayel Al Lawz area southeast of the city.
Settlers also attacked the Khillet Al Homs area south of Hebron, leaving two Palestinians with bruises and causing several cases of suffocation.
Various parts of the occupied West Bank continue to witness escalating operations by Israeli forces, which carry out near-daily raids, house searches, arrests, and road closures, alongside repeated attacks by Israeli settlers targeting Palestinians and their property. (QNA)
