Paris, July 30 (QNA) - The Arab World Institute (Institut du Monde Arabe) has announced the shortlisted projects across all categories of its 2026 Design Awards, including the Emerging Talent Award, Contemporary Craftsmanship Award, Impact Award, Arab Swiss Bank Award, and the Grand Prize.
Established by the Paris-based Arab World Institute, the Design Awards recognise innovative achievements in design, architecture and craftsmanship, while supporting emerging talent and honouring designers, architects and emerging brands from across the Arab world. The awards also celebrate the region's expertise and diverse cultural identities.
The winners will be announced during an awards ceremony at the Arab World Institute (IMA) on 9 September, as part of Paris Design Week. All shortlisted projects will be showcased in a public exhibition at the institute from 3 to 20 September.
Launched in 2023, the Arab World Institute Design Awards were established to spotlight the work of both emerging and established designers from the Arab world, while fostering cultural and artistic exchange between the Arab world and France. (QNA)
