Gaza, July 25 (QNA) - A Palestinian died on Saturday of wounds sustained in an Israeli attack on Gaza City, medical sources said.
The sources said he had been injured in a strike by Israeli occupation forces on the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City, and later succumbed to his wounds.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces continued shelling the eastern part of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, while tanks opened heavy fire in the area.
In the southern Gaza Strip, Israeli tanks intensified shelling east of the town of Al-Qarara in Khan Younis. They also shelled and opened fire on the eastern and southern parts of the city, while military vehicles advanced into the Abu Al-Ajeen area, southeast of Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza, carrying out bulldozing operations.
The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 2023 has reached 73,311, with 173,924 people injured. (QNA)
