Kuwait, July 22 (QNA) - The Kuwait-based GCC Joint Program Production Institution (GCCJPPI) has unveiled the launch of the "Our Gulf Flourishes" campaign, featuring a musical work.
The campaign is directed to the Gulf family, particularly the children's segment, to promote the common Gulf identity, as well as the tenets of belonging, unity, and synergy among the GCC peoples through showcasing creative content that addresses the new generations.
Director-General of the GCCJPPI, Sheikh Mubarak Fahd Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, said the move comes in the wake of the circumstances unfolding in the region to embody an artistic message that bolsters awareness of the shared destiny.
This musical piece, Sheikh Mubarak added, highlights the accomplishments of the GCC nations, including milestones and their indomitability in addressing challenges and threats.
He outlined that the work is a state-of-the-art Gulf model that combines identity, innovation, and cutting-edge technologies, in pursuit of coping with current incidents and entrenching the informative Gulf media message to address the Gulf family.
Participating in this work is a contingent of Gulf innovators, with Manal Al Gharballi creatively directing the musical piece, Ahmed Bou Deham directing it, while the lyrics and composition were written by Mishari Al Sarea, and performed by artist Maryam Shehab. (QNA)
