QNL, Institute of Arabic Manuscripts Explore Boosting Cooperation, Holding Joint Research Projects

Doha, July 21 (QNA) - Qatar National Library (QNL) and the Institute of Arabic Manuscripts held an extensive virtual meeting on Tuesday to explore prospects for cooperation in various fields related to Arabic manuscripts and manuscript studies.
This comes as part of their efforts to strengthen joint initiatives to preserve cultural and civilizational heritage and ensure heritage science sustainability.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of topics of mutual interest, foremost among them the exchange of scientific and technical expertise in manuscript-related fields, organizing joint events and research projects, and developing action plans that contribute to preserving Arab and Islamic heritage and safeguarding historical legacy.
QNL Executive Director Tan Huism praised the productive exchange that took place with the Institute of Arabic Manuscripts and welcomed new avenues for bilateral collaboration and the launch of future projects to support the preservation of manuscript heritage.
For his part, Director of the Institute of Arabic Manuscripts Dr. Musa Al Jubouri praised cooperation with QNL and emphasized the importance of strategic partnerships among Arab cultural institutions to protect the Arab manuscript heritage and make it more accessible to researchers and scholars.
