Manama, July 21 (QNA) - Bahrain announced today that its air defense systems had intercepted a new wave of Iranian aerial attacks.
In a statement, the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force said Iran was continuing its systematic hostile campaign through attacks targeting civilians in the Kingdom of Bahrain. It urged citizens to exercise caution, avoid approaching any suspicious or unidentified objects resulting from the attacks, and report them immediately to the authorities.
The command said the Royal Field Engineering Unit was dealing with the unexploded remnants and reaffirmed that all military units remain fully prepared to defend the country.
It also said the use of missiles and drones to target civilians and private property constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.
Bahrain has been subjected to missile and drone attacks launched from Iran for several days, with the General Command saying that the country's air defense systems have successfully intercepted the incoming attacks. (QNA)
