Syrian Health Ministry: Death Toll from Damascus Cafe Blast Rises to Five
Damascus, July 02 (QNA) - The death toll from the bomb blast at a cafe in the Syrian capital, Damascus, earlier on Thursday has risen to five, while 20 others were injured.
Sources at the Syrian Ministry of Health stated that the victims were taken to hospitals in Damascus for treatment, adding that the injuries ranged from minor to critical.
Earlier, the Syrian Ministry of Interior said an improvised explosive device (IED) detonated inside the cafe. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances of the blast and identify those responsible. (QNA)
