Kuwait Defense Ministry Says It Tracked, Intercepted Iranian Missiles and Drones
Kuwait, July 19 (QNA) - The armed forces have tracked ballistic missiles and hostile one-way attack drones that intruded into Kuwaiti airspace since dawn on Sunday and have been intercepted, the Kuwaiti Defense Ministry said.
Col. Staff Saud Al Atwan, the ministry's official spokesperson, said the egregious Iranian aggression continues to target critical civilian facilities in the country. He added that the attacks targeted a number of vital utilities, including facilities of the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, sparking blazes and incurring grave damage to them.
Al Atwan assured that the armed forces will continue to undertake their duties more efficiently as part of their permanent readiness and take essential measures to protect state security in lockstep with relevant authorities to safeguard the safety of citizens and residents. (QNA)
