Manama, July 20 (QNA) - Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs (CAA) has said an Iranian drone attack targeted the Air navigation systems within the country's Flight Information Region (FIR) without disrupting operations.

CAA noted that the competent authorities had immediately begun handling the incident in accordance with the approved operational and security procedures and had taken the essential measures to ensure the continuity of navigation services and the safety of air traffic.

The regulator further highlighted that flights and air traffic transiting the FIR are operating normally, while monitoring developments and maintaining coordination with international organizations and relevant authorities. (QNA)
