Gaza, July 18 (QNA) - The toll from the Israeli occupation's war of extermination in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,269 martyrs and 173,811 wounded, according to medical sources in Gaza.
The sources said hospitals across the Strip received 19 bodies and treated 60 wounded people over the past 24 hours. The latest fatalities include one person who died from previously sustained injuries and two whose bodies were recovered.
They added that since the ceasefire reached on October 11, the death toll has increased to 1,144, with 3,703 people wounded. During the same period, 802 bodies have been recovered.
Medical sources also said that many victims remain trapped under the rubble or lying in the streets, as ambulance and rescue crews are unable to reach them. (QNA)
